WWE Fast Lane 2015 Predictions

Since this is being posted last minute, I'm not going to go into much detail, I'm just going to give my predictions with shorter thoughts than normal. As you can probably tell, I'm not extremely excited about the Fast Lane PPV. It seems like WWE goes from hype to mediocrity every month and now certainly isn't the right time for that to happen heading towards WrestleMania.

I'll give them one thing, they did a phenomenal job of hyping Bryan/Reigns on Raw however I still can't say I'm pumped for it. There's honestly not anything thing on the card that intrigues me past that match and the Tag Team Title Match. Although I will say that it's a promising card and I think it will be an entertaining evening of action regardless of how I feel heading into it.

1) Dean Ambrose vs. Bad News Barrett - WWE Intercontinental Championship Match

This is a match that I feel could be a sleeper on the card simply because of how good both guys are, but then again, there isn't much hype around it as neither guy has been featured prominently on TV in recent weeks aside from their segment on Raw this Monday. I honestly think Ambrose will pick up the win here because he's on a serious PPV losing streak and I don't see them putting BNB over him.

Who I think will win - Dean Ambrose

2) The Usos (w/ Naomi) vs. Cesaro & Tyson Kidd (w/ Natalya) - WWE Tag Team Championship Match

I think this bout will steal the show on the undercard. The Usos are the most entertaining tag team in WWE and rarely have a bad match while you could also say the same for Cesaro & Kidd. So basically, this is a recipe for success. I hope these two teams get around 20 minutes and in the end we see new tag team champions crowned. I think we are just seeing the start of this feud though. I personally hope it leads to a intergender six person tag match for both the Tag & Divas Title then have a Ladder Match at Extreme Rules for the titles. This could be one of the best tag team trilogy of matches ever if they allow it to be and put some effort into it. If not, these two will steal the show every time they wrestle. I'm going with Cesaro & Kidd.

Who I think will win - Cesaro & Tyson Kidd

3) Nikki Bella vs. Paige - Divas Championship Match

While signs would point towards a title change considering how much Paige has been belittled in recent weeks, I don't see the Divas Title changing hands tonight. Nikki Bella's reign is just getting started. She retains here.

Who I think will win - Nikki Bella

4) Goldust vs. Stardust

I don't really know what to think about this. It was added last minute although it did have some great build up on the go-home shows. I personally don't think this bout will even get started. Just based on how they are booking Cody, I think we will see him jump Goldust and vicious brawl will take place similar to how they did Ambrose/Rollins at Battleground last year. This will lead to a match with a stipulation for Mania. Maybe Falls Count Anywhere or No Holds Barred? Either way, I say this ends in a no contest.

Who I think will win - No Contest

5) Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, & Erick Rowan vs. Seth Rollins, Big Show, & Kane

The trend of this post seems to be last minute. I wrote this last minute PLUS several matches were added by WWE last minute including this one. With that being said, I doubt this will be anything special and will simply serve as a match to create a moment for Orton to return. I'm not sure how, but I think we will see him return here to set the stage for his match with Rollins at WrestleMania. As for who will win, I'll go with the heels. They win, brag, and beat down the faces - out comes Orton.

Who I think will win - Seth Rollins, Big Show, & Kane

6) Rusev vs. John Cena - United States Championship

I'll just cut to the chase here. Rusev needs to win in a highly competitive match. Don't make it a squash, don't make it your repetitive Cena match. Have these two slug it out and fight like hell for the US Title. Use a big spot for Rusev to win to keep Cena looking strong (because we all know that's WWE's main focus). Maybe a table or steel steps bump followed by Rusev's finisher? That's how I'd book it and how I think it should be done. Rusev over Cena. I think this feud will continue into Mania.

Who I think will win - Rusev

7) Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns

This is really hard to predict considering the rumors of the main event at Mania being made a Triple Threat. With those rumors taken into consideration, I'm gonna say that Bryan will win only for Reigns to still get his title match because it technically can't be taken away from him. I personally would rather Bryan face Ziggler like what was supposedly planned however I'm not gonna complain if Bryan is added to the title match because it just adds another dynamic. Regardless of the result of this match, I think two things are for sure - Reigns will benefit a lot from this bout and he WILL walk out of WrestleMania as Champion, even if Bryan is added to the match.

Who I think will win - Daniel Bryan
