WWE Elimination Chamber 2014 Predictions & Analysis

WWE Elimination Chamber 2014 Predictions

Elimination Chamber is actually the first PPV that I've been excited about since SummerSlam last year. Hopefully this means WWE is headed back into the right direction. They built towards this PPV very well. New stars are being pushed and showcased in various matches, great stories are being told, all things in WWE are pretty great right now. I think this Sunday will be an all around awesome show. These are my predictions for what will happen.

Kickoff Show:

Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel

Since losing their Tag Team titles, Cody Rhodes & Goldust have been on a bit of a downward spiral. Sadly, I believe it continues here. WWE needs to continue building more tag teams and I think that Ryback & Axel should go over on the former tag team champs here. I think Ryback & Axel will bend the rules and escape with a victory, setting up more between the two teams and potentially leading to a four team match at WrestleMania for the Tag Titles.

Who I think will win - Ryback & Curtis Axel

Main Show:

1) Big E Langston (c) vs. Jack Swagger

I don't think there is any chance that Langston will retain his championship here. I think Swagger will win and start acting stuck up which lead to a feud between himself and Cesaro. Simple as that. Although the outcome seems predictable, I think this will be one hell of a hardhitting match up.

Who I think will win - Jack Swagger

2) Batista vs. Alberto Del Rio

This is probably the only match on the card that I'm not looking forward to on the card. Del Rio is a very talented individual and ever since Batista returned, he's become his bitch. Every week he's fed to Batista and gets his ass beat. Not the way to treat a former World Champion. Obviously, Batista will win this, hopefully not in quick fashion. WWE can't afford to make Del Rio look any weaker.

Who I think will win - Batista

3) New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos - WWE Tag Team Championship Match

I expect this to be a really good match as The Usos are extremely fun to watch and the Outlaws are still in great shape. As much as I want The Usos to win the titles here, I think that will be saved for a later date. I see the New Age Outlaws escaping with a cheap victory after a very competitive match.

Who I think will win - New Age Outlaws

4) Titus O'Neil vs. Darren Young

I've been a huge supporter of Titus O'Neil for months. If you follow me on Twitter, this is something you probably already know. The guy is the total package. I think this will be a good match if given time and that Titus will get the victory and continue his push towards superstardom.

Who I think will win - Titus O'Neil

5) The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family

This is the match I'm most excited about. Two young, hungry teams that are hugely popular with the WWE Universe about to clash after months of build up! WWE really hit the nail on the head with how they built towards this battle. The first meeting between these two was late last year when the two teams came face to face after interfering in a match The Shield with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. The crowd erupted with "This is Awesome" chants, I got chills, it was amazing. I knew WWE couldn't pass up this opportunity to have these two groups face off. Now that it's finally here, I can't wait for it. I think this has the potential to be Match of the Night and steal the show. I see The Wyatt Family coming out on top to build momentum heading into Bray's potential match with John Cena at WrestleMania. I think this match will also lead to The Shield finally breaking up which will be interesting to see.

Who I think will win - The Wyatt Family

6) Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Cesaro vs. Christian vs. Sheamus vs. John Cena - Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Title

This match is very tricky to predict. I'm excited about this match as all of the participants are known for putting on outstanding matches. I feel that Cesaro will have the performance of the night in this match, but I don't think he'll come out with the victory. When trying to come up with my prediction for this match, I went back and forth between two individuals, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan. After alot of thought, I think Daniel Bryan will win the WWE Championship in the Elimination Chamber match. I think he and Orton will be the final two and Bryan will finally win the title. My first thought was that they'd be the final two and Kane would screw Bryan out of the title, but that'd be a carbon copy of what happened during Bryan's run for the title last year. WWE could still do that, but I doubt they want the crowd to be pissed off going into a huge episode of Raw this Monday night. My prediction is that Bryan will win, but if Orton does retain, Bryan won't be the guy he pins to win. Picking Bryan is a wildcard choice, but I really think it will happen.

Who I think will win - Daniel Bryan
