WWE Money In The Bank 2014 Predictions & Analysis

WWE Money In The Bank 2014 Predictions

Money In The Bank has become one of the WWE's biggest PPV's of the years. Many classic moments and matches have taken place at this PPV over the past few years. This year's PPV has the potential to be just as memorable as a new champion will be crowned. Beyond that, the majority of the matches are very hard to predict. Although I do have an idea of what I think will happen which I will detail in this column. Also, this is not neccesarily what I think should happen, to see what I think SHOULD happen click here! Now, without a further a due. Let's get into my predictions and analysis for each match on the show.

1) Goldust & Stardust vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel

It's rumored that WWE's plans for Cody Rhodes as Stardust depend on how well the gimmick goes over with the crowd. Based on the way people have reacted on Twitter, I think most enjoy it. That being said, I think the Rhodes Bros will go over here and start working towards a tag team title shot. While this storyline between The Rhodes Bros and Rybaxel has been boring, I'm hopeful that they'll allow these two teams some time to produce a quality match. Both teams are very good and have a lot of potential. Either way, it's a given that Goldust & Stardust will win to create a happy ending to this storyline.

Who I think will win: Goldust & Stardust

2) The Usos vs. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan - Tag Team Championship Match

This is one of the matches that I'm most looking forward to. These two teams tore the house down on Raw a few weeks ago and I expect them to do the same here. As much as I want Harper & Rowan to win, I think The Usos will emerge victorious here.

Who I think will win: The Usos

3) Paige vs. Naomi - Divas Championship Match

This is another match that I'm excited about. Paige is outstanding and Naomi is so fun to watch in the ring, this should make for an exceptional match. They had a great match on Main Event a few weeks ago in which Naomi came out victorious. I don't think that will be the case here, although I do think it will be a very competitive match. Paige will walk away with the Divas Championship though. Wouldn't be surprised if Cameron interferes to screw Naomi out of the belt, but hopefully that doesn't hinder the match too much.

Who I think will win: Paige

4) Rusev vs. Big E

I'm gonna try and keep my cool here, but this feud is utter garbage. WWE has an established "Real American" on their roster who is an intimidating force yet they have Big E give patriotic speeches each week against Rusev. DUMB. For an in depth look on why I think Jack Swagger should be the one feuding with Rusev, check out my article on PWMania on the subject by clicking here. Now, onto my prediction although I don't really care because this feud has been so terrible. I think Rusev will win an continue his "dominant" streak if you can call it that.

Who I think will win: Rusev

5) Summer Rae vs. Layla

As long as Fandango doesn't get involved, this could be very good. But we all know where WWE is going with this. There will be a lot of idiotic shenanigans that take place in this match. This feud had potential to be good, but it hasn't been entertaining at all. I have no idea who they'll have win this because I could honestly care less. But I'll just go with Summer Rae.

Who I think will win: Summer Rae

6) Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Jack Swagger - Money In The Bank Ladder Match

My early pick to win this match was Bad News Barrett. But devastatingly, he suffered an injury that made it where he couldn't compete in this match. I honestly think he would have won, but since he's out, I think Seth Rollins is the perfect choice. For once I think what should happen will happen - Seth Rollins wins this match.

Who I think will win: Seth Rollins

7) John Cena vs. Roman Reigns vs. Cesaro vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton vs. Kane vs. Sheamus - Money In The Bank Ladder Match for the WWE Championship

Ah, this one is a toss up. I've been torn between three men in this match. First off, I'll say that I would like Bray Wyatt to win. He's ready for the title. BUT that's not what I think will happen. Based on the way they've been booked, Cesaro and Roman Reigns are strong choices. Heyman keeps saying that Cesaro will win and we've all ignored him because we think Cena will win, but remember before WrestleMania they had Heyman repeatedly say that Lesnar would break the streak, but no one believed it would happen, then it did. So, Cesaro is a strong possibility. As for Roman Reigns, he's been booked as the underdog in this whole situation. From getting in the battle royal to qualify and The Authority repeatedly attempting to hold him back. That's been the story going into this match. For that reason, I'm gonna pick Reigns to win. I don't think he will walk out with the WWE Championship however. I think Seth Rollins will cash in his Money In The Bank contract on Reigns after the match and come out victorious. Thus putting Reigns as the underdog again and continuing that story into SummerSlam. So there's my pick. As for the Cena/Lesnar thing. Just because they were on the poster doesn't mean they'll face for the title. Will they wrestle at the PPV? I think it's possible, but I don't think it should be for the title and I have a strong feeling that it won't be. As always, I could be wrong because this is pure speculation, but I really hope WWE goes with the plan I stated above which would put some new talent in the main event scene to freshen things up a bit.

Who I think will win: Roman Reigns
