WWE WrestleMania 30 Predictions & Analysis

WWE WrestleMania 30 Predictions & Analysis

WrestleMania is only one day away and it's destined to be great. There are many intriguing matches lined up. Many of them are unpredictable which makes it even more fun to watch as you don't know what's gonna happen. Although several of the matches are hard to predict, I have my own theory on what will happen. So I'll start by looking at each match and making my prediction for the outcome.

The Usos vs. The Real Americans vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel vs. Los Matadores
While I'm disappointed that this bout was relegated to the pre-show, I still expect it to be really good. The Usos and Los Matadores will provide the highflying fast paced action, The Real Americans always put on outstanding bouts, and Ryback & Axel can hold their own. I'm expecting The Real Americans to win the titles eventually, but not here. The Usos will retain their titles by pinning either Ryback & Axel or the Matadores.

Who I think will win: The Usos

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
There are many superstars to pick from here and several prime candidates for victory. I'd personally like to see a young star like Titus O'Neil get the victory, but with the way he's been built towards this match, I don't see that happening. Another option I think WWE may choose is Alexander Rusev. It's going to be his debut and although I'm not a huge fan of him, it'd be a good way to debut him. The other big favorite to win is Big Show. I honestly don't think he's a good choice nor will he win. Despite Rusev & Show being favorites, I think Dolph Ziggler will pull out the shocking victory. WM30 has to be a phenomenal show after the rocky start that WWE had to 2014. They want to please the fans and it's came out that people within WWE have noticed how over Ziggler is so maybe they'll give him the win here. I certainly hope so and he's my pick to win.

Who I think will win: Dolph Ziggler

The Shield vs. Kane & The New Age Outlaws
After being the highlight of the past year in WWE, The Shield are in lackluster match as far as I'm concerned. Yeah, it'll be a good rub for them, but it's not like The Shield isn't already hugely over, cause they are. This is one match that's easy to predict - Shield goes over on Kane and The Outlaws plain and simple.

Who I think will win: The Shield

Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker
I don't think there's any chance that Lesnar breaks the streak. WWE has barely even built it that way. This feud was basically built off seeing Taker beat up Lesnar which made no sense to me. Build Taker as the underdog, make Brock seem like a legit threat - that's how it should be done in my opinion. Regardless of my thoughts on how the build to this match was, I think The Undertaker will win a hardhitting match. Interested to see how Taker fares against a guy as physical as Lesnar.

Who I think will win: The Undertaker

Divas Championship Match
Just like the Battle Royal, this is yet another toss up. I don't think AJ Lee will walk out as champion. It will either be Tamina or one of the Bella twins. I'd personally like to see Naomi get the belt, but that's just me. Since The Bellas are on Total Divas, I can see them getting the title over Tamina so I'm gonna go with Brie Bella winning the Divas Championship.

Who I think will win: Brie Bella

Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H
And here's where the card begins getting extremely unpredictable. I don't think there's any way around Bryan being in the main event so Bryan either has to go over clean or their has to be a double count out in which both men advance. Although the double count out theory seems like a tempting choice, I'm leaning more towards Bryan winning the match. With some help? Maybe so. I don't see the win being completely clean, but I think Bryan will win.

Who I think will win: Daniel Bryan

John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
Beyond Bryan's hunt for the title, This is the match I'm most looking forward to. The build has been absolutely phenomenal and it's very unpredictable. Cena is known for always going over, but I really feel like Bray Wyatt will come out on top here. He certainly deserves to. I think Bray should win, I want Bray to win, and I think he WILL win.

Who I think will win: Bray Wyatt

Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. Daniel Bryan (or Triple H)
Once again we have another one that's difficult to outright predict. First off, I'd like to point out that most many are overlooking Randy Orton. Everyone thinks it will be Batista or Bryan that wins the title, but remember what happened last time Orton went into Mania as Champion and was underestimated? It was WrestleMania 24 against John Cena and Triple H and he came out on top. Not saying Orton will win here, but it's possible. The one person I can almost fully rule out is Batista. After the sour return he's had, I highly doubt WWE would end the biggest show of the year with the crowd booing the crap out of him. WWE wants to end WrestleMania's on a high note that makes the fans happy. Batista is not the way to go. Speaking of the end of Mania, I think the key to who will win this match lies within what time the match goes on. If this match is truly the main event - Bryan will win. However if it goes on before the main event - Batista or Orton will win. That's how I'm looking at this. The only other way WWE could go as far as what match main events would be to put Lesnar/Taker on last and I just don't see that happening. Two part timers closing the show? Meh. SO I'm going with not only who I think will win, but who I want to win.. Daniel Bryan. I think that WrestleMania 30 will FINALLY be his time to shine!

Who I think will win: Daniel Bryan
You may have noticed a theme in my picks. All of them are young stars. I think this WrestleMania 30 will not just be remembered for being the climax of the Yes Movement, but also for being the beginning of the Youth Movement in the WWE.

WrestleMania 20 was the night the torch was passed. A new era began. Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit won World Championships defeating Triple H and Shawn Michaels. I feel the same thing will happen at a WrestleMania 30. A new era will begin.

WWE has held Cena, Batista, and Orton as the top dogs for as long as they can and now is the time that they NEED to pass the torch. Not SHOULD pass the torch, but NEED to pass the torch. The way 2014 began is a sign of the torch needing to be passed as not only hardcore fans rebelled, casual fans (or the 'WWE Universe') did as well. Will WWE listen to the cries of their fanbase and finally give them what they want? Or will they bring them up just to drop them back down again with disappointment?

I told a friend earlier this week that we're either gonna be super happy about the outcome of WrestleMania or very pissed/saddened. There's not gonna be an in-between. It's either now or never WWE. Let the future become the now at WrestleMania tomorrow night. It's time for the passing of the torch.
